Don't tell anyone your idea, keep it "Under Your Hat".
It probably won't be your family or friends who would steal the idea, but maybe a friend of a friend of a friend, who doesn't know you from a "Bar of Soap", who might think your idea is great and produce and sell it before you can "Blink an Eye-Lid".!!!

If they don't sign a Confidentiality Agreement then don't disclose your idea.
